Our Champions

East Belfast has long been associated with inspirational film, theatre and literary talent, either born and bred, or choosing to settle and work in this part of the city.

At Strand Arts Centre we are delighted that the exceptional creative individuals acknowledged on this wall have agreed to be ‘ Our Champions’. Each of them is a truly outstanding ambassador for East Belfast with their talents recognised globally.  They are all hugely supportive of the Strand, and the need to preserve its heritage while driving forward our exciting plans for the future.

We are very grateful to our Champions for their time and commitment to the Strand Arts Centre.
