Film & a swim! Kids will have a swim in the heated Tropicana outdoor pool, followed by screening of Song Of The Sea inside the leisure centre. Sandwiches will be provided for the children and tea and coffee for adults.
Song Of The Sea tells a story rooted in traditional Irish folk tales of two children whose fate is entwined with the sea and includes spellbinding animation and an enchanting soundtrack with traditional folk ballads and instruments.
“Inspired by the Celtic folklore tradition of the selkie, the Oscar-nominated Song of the Sea is a sumptuous marriage of visuals and narrative.” Michael O’Sullivan, Washington Post
